There are lifestyles that we stumble upon and are drawn to whether we like it or not.
For me the lifestyle is water. I love water and worship it. I am thrilled when I swim in it. I love the idea of living close to the sea and waking up to the sound of crashing waves. I am happiest when I swim whether it be a pool, a river or ultimately the ocean. Passion is not easily explainable, it may be what some call serendipity or fate.
This site is a community for those who have a passion for the water, a network for those who love to swim whether it be at a pool or in the open water. It is a stop for information through features, profiles, product reviews and ultimately a world where we can exchange ideas and stories about a lifestyle that in the end we all share.

Congrats, Amy, on the new blog. I too love water, especially near beaches, but when it comes to swimming, I prefer lap-pools. I look forward to reading more as things develop.

ReplyDeleteBlog looks great, I miss swimming frequently, especially the complete sensory deprivation/recalibration. I never felt swimming with people made sense-- it should be the luxury of an oasis experience not the repeated flip-turn sploosh of lap swimming.
